ABOUT US

Rufous, my first Wirehaired Vizsla started my love of the breed.

Zolna and Tarka arrived in November 2015, from Zsofia Mizcek’s Zoldmali kennel in Hungary and my journey into the world of gundog training began in earnest.

I travelled to Hungary in September 2016 to take part in the Wirehaired Vizsla Jubilee celebrations – a show, working tests and field trials.  It was a fantastic experience for Zolna, Tarka and me, we had such fun and a few successes!

I am a small animal vet and have been fortunate to have owned some superb canine characters of different breeds.

I enjoy working my dogs.  The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla is such a versatile breed.  My intent when breeding is to produce a happy, healthy and balanced puppy who could be used for a variety of purposes, be it a hunt point retrieve dog, under the gun, for falconry, a stalking companion or agility champion, but always a much loved pet.

I get a lot of enjoyment out of working my dogs and competing with them in field trials.  I have been fortunate to compete with them as a member of Team GB in the European Cup.

I also own Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund, a superb breed, do not be fooled by their small stature, they are very capable working dogs in their own right and happily keep up with the Vizsla when out on walks.

I am a licensed breeder with Wiltshire Council - LN/000019718
